Here’s my new project :

a Scratchbuilt Balsa Folke-Wulf TA 183 Powered with L2 Rapier Jet Motor.

the scale is not accurate but the wingspan will be around 30cm (12″).

the basic bike is finished, just have to find a fuel petcock and i’m, ready  for the test drive.

Then, i’ll have to add the electrical system to please the SAAQ and i’m ready to cruise in Mtl :)

I’ve just finished the body : paint job + Stickers.

I’ve tried to turn the 80’s color sheme into a more modern one, inspired from Ducati.

Now I need to take care of the pilot, I have to find some references for the color (I don’t like the original white leather :))

On reconnait a peine le cirque du Soleil dans le fond.

My dream came true

I’m dreaming about this RC motorcycle for YEARS, so last week I’ve finally decide to order one.

I’ve just received the basic kit but I still have to wait for the FUTABA receiver/servo and the battery.

It seems that rcmart.com is definitely the BEST website with the best prices for RC stuff…

A few month Later

After a few month, the Rolling chassis is almost finished, all the parts come from Europe (France, Belgium, Germany, nederlands…) and asia (Japan, Thailand…), that,s why it took so long.

I had to replace the frame also after some issues with steering stem bearings (you can see the old black frame in the background.

So, the Fork is a PBR fork with disk brake, 10″ alloy wheels (still need some spacers since the front wheels is not perfectly in the middle) and an alloy Swing arm + 10cm.
